Shingo Shigeno (茂野 真吾, Shigeno Shingou) is the biological son of Hideki Shigeno and Momoko Shigeno, and Goro Shigeno's younger step-brother in the series.

Born as the biological son of Hideki and Momoko Shigeno, he started playing baseball in admiration of his elder stepbrother. Shingo felt that he couldn't follow his dad and his brother's pace, and later quit but was refilled with passion after watching the World Cup finals between Goro and Gibson's faceoff.
