- The Hornets win the World Series against the Raiders, and Izumi Shigeno is born at the same time.
- Two years later, Daigo Shigeno is born.
- Four years after winning the World Series, Goro undergoes surgery due to an injury on his shoulder. Although the surgery is a success, Goro is unable to continue pitching and is released from the Hornets a year later.
