List of Characters[]
Summary[]
After the Seishu VS Kaido game, Goro decides to become a pro in Japan. But after seeing the news about Gibson's 300th victory and his dedicatory to "a friend in Japan", he asks Kusakabe to try to make contact with Gibson. After receiving Gibson's response and discovering his dream to play in the same ground as Goro, he decides to go to America to challenge Gibson at the Majors.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
In the manga, Goro is drafted by the Warriors first, then by the Blue Oceans. In the anime, the Warriors proposal was cut. Goro's conversation with Komori on chapter 431 is also cut. Hideki's conversation with Goro is also different, in the manga it happens at the Shigeno household and Momoko is present. In the anime, Hideki talks to Goro alone at Shigeharu's grave.
Trivia[]
Unlike the previous seasons, the ending montage for this episodes shows the highlights from all seasons since the first. Also, the post-credits scene teases Goro's confrontation with someone in the Minor League.
