Summary[]
Before the match against Kaido, Goro goes to the pool under his doctor orders where he encounters Shimizu. Fuji and Nakamura talk about their past. The match starts, Taiga is the first batter. Kaido first pitcher is Ichihara. Taiga gets a base and, after Uchiyama makes a bunt, Taiga reaches the second base. Goro is the next batter. Toshiya tells him that Kaido isnt playing following the manual and starts confronting him, at the end, Goro is striked out.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
A small scene where Goro analyzes Mayumura's pitching alongside Tashiro in chapter 380 was cut from the anime adaptation. Seishu's last training session is also different in the manga, where Goro and Tashiro also participate and their training happens after analyzing Mayumura's pitching. In the anime, Tashiro is present but Goro isn't.
