Summary[]
Katsuragi decides to continue trying to scout Goro. Kawase meets Ayane. After seeing Kuriyama's match, Goro decides to start training Seishu against sliders, with the help of Katsuragi. Kawase also helps in the training.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
Kawase and Yaginuma appearances here are original to the anime. Kawase never appears in the manga again after the Little League Arc. Yaginuma isn't introduced in the manga until the Minor League Arc. In the manga, as Kawase never appears after the Little League, the training against sliders is made with Taiga's pitches. As Ayane isn't present in the manga after the Mifune East Middle Arc either, her plot with Toshiya here is also original to the anime.
