Summary[]
The doctor tells Goro and Yamada that Goro cant pitch anymore. After that, Goro finds a doctor who is disposed to make an infiltration on his foot. After talking to his mother, Goro is allowed to do the infiltration. At the day of the match, Goro tells Taiga about the infiltration. The match starts and Yamane annuls the Seishu batters. Taiga also annuls the Mifune batters, even Komori. The first inning ends without any scores.

Mifune's flashback with Komori, Yamane and Oobayashi joining the team happens at the beginning of the Kaido Academy Arc in the manga.
