Summary[]
After confronting the 4th batter, Egashira, the chief-assistant, allows Goro to continue in Kaido. After that, Goro starts his training for the practice match against the Varsity team.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
Goro's nightmare about Sengoku from chapter 272 was cut. Terakado's plot from chapters 275 and 276 was also entirely cut from the anime, resulting on chapter 276 never being animated. Lastly, a small scene from the beginning of chapter 277, where Shizuka and Taizou are talking to Goro about the 1st string game, is cut from the anime adaptation.
