Summary[]
After three months training at the Island of Dreams, the position test finally comes. At the end of the test, Goro is chosen as an outfielder and starts his training for this position.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
Komori's scenes at Mifune High from chapter 219 were moved to season 3. Furthermore, Toshiya's letter was sent to his grandparents in the manga, in the anime however, he sent it to Ayane Suzuki. The scene showing that Shimizu is playing softball again is different from the manga. In the manga, she only tells Momoko she resumed playing. The anime however actually shows Shimizu playing softball. Ayane's appearances from this episode onwards are all original to the anime. A small scene from chapter 220 where Goro and his friends are reading some kind of adult magazine was cut from the anime. Another small scene from chapter 224, where Inui and Suo talk about Goro is ommited in the anime.
