A Fresh Resolve is the 36th episode of the MAJOR anime and 10th episode of the 2nd season. It was aired on February 18, 2006.

Summary[]
Goro, Toshiya and Komori starts their training for the Kaido exams, in the middle of that, they go to the beach, there, Shimizu decides that she will go to Kaido too. At the day of the exams, Goro, Toshiya and Komori arrive in Kaido.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
A small scene from chapter 183, where Oonuki compensates Mayumura for defeating Goro in the match is cut from the anime adaptation. Goro's conversation with Toshiya happens in a park in the manga version of chapter 184, in the anime however, it occurs at Toshiya's grandparents house. Only the last scene from chapter 185 is adapted, where Toshiya's grandparents encourage him to go to Kaido with Goro. Everything else was cut in the adaptation. Also, the beach sequence from chapter 187 was spread across the entire episode, while in the manga it takes place after all the aforementioned events. In the anime version, the beach sequence takes place in the present time, while the other events are shown as flashbacks. Toshiya meeting with Ayane at the park is also entirely exclusive to the anime adaptation.
