The End of the Battle is the 35th episode of the MAJOR anime and 9th episode of the 2nd season. It was aired on February 11, 2006.

Summary[]
Mifune East manages tie in the game. Thereafter, Goro scores a grand slam, which ends the game in 9-5 for Mifune. The scouter from Kaido goes to Goro's house, but Goro kicks him out. After that, the scouter goes after a pitcher, Mayumura Ken, in order to show Goro the power of Kaido. The game between Mifune East and Kaido ends up with Kaido win by 19-0. The episode ends with Goro telling Toshiya that they wont be able to defeat Kaido by themselves.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
The anime adaptation cuts the whole sequence where Goro meets Mayumura in person and talks to him for the first time in chatper 181.
