The Kanagawa regionals are about to start, and Mifune's first match is against the Honmoku Little, the team that was eliminated by Yokohama Little by a score of only 2-1. As the game begins, the Mifune batters are completely dominated by the Black Triangle of Honmoku. The third inning ends in a 0-0.
