Toshiya is chosen as a DH. The match against Venezuela starts. With the help of a bunt, Kyoshiro scores a run. Sato hits and breaks his bat, but is catch in a double play, which ends the Japan attack in the 1st inning. At the bottom of the 2nd, Harada manages to get 2 outs, and Silva is now at bat. Silva hits and Pedenio scores a run, which ties in the game by 1-1. Doumoto, the catcher, is injured during Pedenio's run and Toshiya substitutes him. Venezuela scores 4 more runs before the end of the inning. In the 2nd inning, Venezuela scores 2 more runs, its 7-1 for them. At the top of the 6th, Japan scores a run, its 7-2 now. At the bottom of the 6th, Goro enters the game.
