Summary[]
After winning the Minor League and playing for the Hornets in the Arizona League, Goro returns to Japan. After discovering about Mayumura and Toshiya's progress in the NPB, Goro goes to the Tokyo Warriors dormitories to meet Toshiya, who tells him about the upcoming Baseball World Cup and that Mayumura was chosen as one of the Japan representatives. Shimizu calls Goro to a music show, he accepts. When he's going to the date, his father arrives at home. After knowing that his father is working as a coach for the All Japan team, he asks him how to join the selection. Hideki tells him that there will be a match between some of the rookies and the All Japan team, to choose some of them for the All Japan selection. Goro tells Toshiya about that and he agrees to participate alongside Goro. After the conversation, Momoko tells Goro that he's late for the date. Shimizu calls him and he tells her to go alone.
