An Oath is the 104th episode of the MAJOR anime and final episode of the 4th season. It was aired on June 28, 2008.

Summary[]
At the top of the 10th, Goro scores a home-run, 4-3 for the Bats. At the bottom of the 10th, with 2 outs and 2 full bases, Junior is at bat again. Goro tries to let him walk but, after talking to his teammates, he decides to confront him and eliminates Junior by breaking his bat. After the game Junior asks him about Shigeharu's grave, but he says that as long as Junior is giving his life for the baseball, all is ok. Gibson also congrats the two for showing him an excellent confrontation.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
The second half of chapter 499, showing Goro's post season and him going to the airport with Alice and Sanders was cut from this episode. Those scenes were adapted in the prologue of the movie MAJOR: The Winning Shot of Friendship.
