The Pitch of Destiny is the 100th episode of the MAJOR anime and 22nd episode of the 4th season. It was aired on May 31, 2008.

Summary[]
Goro is in the first base after being hit by a deadball. Kellog makes a bad hit that ends the inning. At the top of the 4th, Goro strikes out Gibson Jr with his injured hand, making strikes only in the center with a speed of 100mph. After that, Goro isnt able to pitch because of the pain, and is substituted. Gibson promises that they will face off again. Out of the stadium, Goro and Ginumachi says goodbye, and Goro tells him to not give up on baseball. The game ends with the Bats win by 9-8.
