Summary[]
Daigo regains his will to play after talking to his father.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
When Goro takes Daigo to lunch, he mentions going through "an admission exam whose test was eating five lunchboxes". This test is part of Kaido's entrance exam, but it was cut in the anime adaptation. At the end of chapter 184, Goro offers to be Fuurin's coach. In the anime, on the same scene, he just takes Daigo to the bridge to play catch ball with him. Insted of continuing the manga's storyline, Daigo simply returns to Fuurin and meets his friends in the anime.
