Sawa's eyecatch in this episode
Goro watching the match from afar
At the bottom of the fifth inning, Oobi's rotation begins again. As Chisato is already tired, Sawa subs her. With Sawa now pitching, Fuurin eliminates Oobi's 2nd, 3rd and 4th batters. However, Fuurin fails to score in the sixth inning. At the top of the seventh, Fuurin's attack begins again. Meanwhile, at the stands, it is shown that Goro isn't answering Kaoru's messages. Back at the game, Anita and Mutsuko create another chance for Fuurin to score. With the rotation starting again, Chisato is the next batter. Back at the stands, it is shown that Goro has arrived at the stadium and is now watching the game.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
Goro is shown to be watching the match earlier in the anime than in the manga. Also, a scene with Kaoru trying to reach out to him was added to the anime, to give context.
