Summary[]

Michiru and her friends during their Yokohama Senior days
After winning their semifinals match against Yanagawa, Daigo and Nishina train curveballs at the entrance of the stadium. Meanwhile, the rest of Fuurin watches Eihou's match, and are quickly surprised by Eihou's opponent, Oobi Middle, a team leaded by Michiru Mayumura, from the Touto Boys, and Kotaro Uozumi, a former Yokohama Little player who was a teammate of Sawa and Sagara on said team. Oobi wins the match by 5 - 0. A flashback of Michiru and Uozumi at Yokohama Senior follows. Michiru is set aside from the Yokohama players, since the coach thinks she will fall behind them due to their physical development. Michiru and Uozumi subsequently left the team with their friends Idemitsu and Seiko to be in a team where Michiru can play too. As the episode ends, Daigo sees Michiru from the stands. The match between Fuurin and Oobi is about to begin.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
Michiru's backstory in the Yokohama Senior with Uozumi and her friends was created for the anime, since it isn't present in the manga version.
