Summary[]
As the team watches Eihou's match, the team's strength becomes clear to them. Since Mutsuko is now exhausted, Daigo chooses to play the next two matches with Nishina and Chisato, and returns to the club to test their pitching. After this, it starts to rain. It keeps raining for the rest of the day, and the Fuurin members think the match can be cancelled. However, everyone (save for Sawa, Sagara and the injured ones) does some last-minute training just in case. Somewhere else, Michiru is also shown to be training, alone.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
Most of this episode is original content. Miho also makes an appearance here, and it is revealed that she is the mother of Fuji's daughters. In the manga, their mother's identity isn't confirmed yet.
