Summary[]
Daigo meets Hikaru again at the practice match
Hikaru Sato introduced himself to Daigo Shigeno and Mutsuko Sakura as the son of Sato Toshiya. Not knowing that Daigo Shigeno had already quit the baseball team and wanted to join the baseball team of Daigo Shigeno. Instead, Mutsuko Sakura asked Daigo to introduce Sato to the Dolphins, the team he used to play in. After Daigo walked Sakura home, it was revealed that Daigo quitted the team as he thought he looked like a loser and couldn't play baseball as freely as he wanted, given that he is the renowned Goro's son. In exchange for getting a new console from his mom, Daigo was forced to play in the Dolphins again. Later in the match, it was revealed that, unlike Daigo, Hikaru had a very strong arm (though he had a bad control).
Manga and Anime Differences[]
- Hideki and Momoko's appearances in this episode are original to the anime version, similar to Goro's appearance in the previous episode.
