Summary[]
Hikaru fails to stop the Touto Boys' attack, and they end up scoring four runs before Daigo stops them. During the Dolphins' attack however, Nagai encourages Hikaru, who scores a two-run homerun with Andy's help. Hikaru is then subbed by Urabe, who quickly strikes out Komatsu, Michiru and Touto's second batter. As the fifth inning begins, Mutsuko steals a base again. Kimura follows with a bunt and she reaches the second base. During Daigo's turn at bat, Wataru sees through Daigo's plan. However, Daigo still uses another squeeze and runs. By the end of the episode, the Touto Boys' are still winning by 5 - 3.
Manga and Anime Differences[]
In the manga, before Wataru scores his homerun, he stops the game to complain about Hikaru's pitching form to the umpire. The game is briefly stopped and the umpires leave Hikaru with a warning. In the anime, the homerun scene plays out the same, but the warning is skipped.
